When it comes to brand management, Airina Rodrigues represents some of the country’s most well-known brands. Airina advises clients on the development, protection and commercialization of intellectual property assets. Her work includes matters involving trademarks and trade dress (including global trademark portfolio management and strategic advice), copyrights, trade secrets, right of publicity, false advertising, patents and commercial contracts. With a particular expertise securing and enforcing the intellectual property of global brands, Airina has represented several Fortune 500 companies and other prominent companies. Her clients span industries such as consumer and personal care products; fashion; media and entertainment; real estate and entertainment properties; aviation and defense; financial services and FinTech; InsurTech; and software, SaaS and IT consulting.
When enforcement of her clients’ intellectual property assets becomes necessary, Airina is an experienced litigator who has successfully represented some of the country’s most well-known and famous brands in U.S. federal district and appellate courts, as well as before the Trademark Trial and Appeal Board of the USPTO. She has also developed and successfully deployed cross-border and multijurisdiction litigation and enforcement strategies for her clients.
In addition, Airina helps her clients commercialize intellectual property assets through sophisticated intellectual property licensing and technology transactions as well as commercial agreements involving intellectual property, complex technology solutions and related services. She represents clients seeking to engage technology vendors and service providers through various types of commercial arrangements, including licenses, service agreements, joint venture agreements, and joint collaboration and development agreements.

Represented the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey in trademark infringement action involving the famous WORLD TRADE CENTER mark, secured dismissal of all 7 causes of action for breach of license agreements and trademark infringement.
Represented Avon in a trademark and trade dress infringement action, obtaining favourable settlement for client and dismissal of all claims.
Obtained an appellate decision that restored the exclusive right of a leading cigar manufacturer to sell COHIBA cigars in the United States.
Represented Cognizant in offensive trademark infringement action, obtaining a temporary restraining order, preliminary injunction, permanent injunction and favorable attorneys’ fee award.
Represented aircraft manufacturer in sponsorship and technology licensing transactions.
Represented subsidiary of Dolce & Gabbana in trademark infringement action, obtaining favorable settlement.
Represented Atos and Worldline in copyright infringement, trade secret misappropriation, breach of contract, and related tort action concerning credit card processing software technology; secured dismissal of all 11 causes of action brought under federal, state and foreign law.
Represented global fashion brand in the sale of all of its IP assets.
Represented Hugo Boss USA, Inc. and Hugo Boss Retail, Inc. in a trademark infringement action in Arizona District Court, obtaining complete victory for client on summary judgment, affirmed on appeal by the United States Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit.
Represented several cosmetics and consumer products companies in connection with global brand management matters, including license agreements for well-known brands.
