Charlie Iovino is a solutions-oriented advocate for clients across the health care industry, from providers to insurers to non-profits. Her broad understanding of the levers that create outcomes in Congress and the executive branch is leveraged to push sensible, sound policies across the finish line to achieve clients’ goals related to benefits, pensions and tax issues. An attorney by trade, Charlie’s technical mastery of where health policy converges with the U.S. tax code is invaluable to companies seeking to protect their interests in Washington, D.C. Her relationships are strongest with Republican members and senior staff on the tax-writing and health committees in Congress and extend to officials at the Department of Health and Human Services, Department of the Treasury, and the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services. 

Having served as an executive at major multinational corporations, Charlie is an asset to companies in high-stakes situations, providing succinct political information and regulatory and legislative counsel that guides companies through periods of turmoil. Earlier in her career, Charlie served as vice president and counsel for Aetna, one of the largest health insurers in the United States. Prior, she served as Mobil Corporation’s corporate counsel and policy advisor to the chairman of the board, on issues related to employee benefits, taxation and international trade. In that role, she represented the chairman in congressional and regulatory oversight initiatives.
