Adam Agron Honored at DU Law Stars

November 03, 2017

Brownstein Hyatt Farber Schreck is pleased to announce that Adam Agron was among several esteemed alumni honored at the annual DU Law Stars Dinner.

Adam received the Robert H. McWilliams Jr. Alumni Professionalism Award, which is given to a University of Denver Sturm College of Law alum who exemplifies ethical conduct, professionalism, dedication to pro bono activities or community service and loyalty to DU.

“The Robert H. McWilliams Jr. Alumni Professionalism Award recognizes exemplary professional achievement, exceptional dedication to the community, and unrivaled loyalty to Denver Law—qualities that Adam Agron demonstrates in abundance,” Dean Bruce Smith said. “He is visionary law firm leader, a respected strategic advisor to public and private companies, a generous philanthropist and civic leader, and a true friend of the University of Denver.  As the dean of Denver Law, I am proud to count Adam among the law school’s most distinguished and dedicated alumni.”

DU Law Stars is Denver Law’s biggest fundraiser and takes place every fall. The program was created to honor distinguished alumni and raise funds for the law school’s clinical programs. This year’s proceeds will go to the Denver Law Fund, which supports the law school’s strategic priorities; clinical programs; and the Veterans Advocacy Project, which provides Colorado veterans with legal representation.

Adam, who graduated from the University of Denver Sturm College of Law in 1998, has been the managing partner of Brownstein’s Denver office since 2013 and sits on the firm’s Executive Committee. He represents private and public companies, professional investors and entrepreneurs in transactions ranging in size from less than $100 million to more than $1 billion. Adam is also involved in political campaigns and philanthropic efforts across the U.S., advising state and federal elected officials and candidates as well as chief executives on matters involving business, law and policy. In addition, he serves on the board of Jewish Family Service of Colorado and has served as an adjunct professor at Denver Law.

Adam was honored at the law school’s annual dinner on Nov. 2 at the Denver Marriott City Center. Click here to watch a congratulatory video shown at the event.
