Brownstein Volunteers Serve Lunch to Those in Need

April 02, 2018

In March, a team of volunteers from Brownstein Hyatt Farber Schreck’s Denver office helped feed those in need with Capitol Hill Community Services.

Brownstein’s volunteersvisited Trinity Church – just a block from the firm's office -- for the lunch service and served 100 meals.

Capitol Hill Community Services provides a consistent source of nutrition for the city’s homeless population at different locations in central Denver throughout the week. The meals come from donated food from the community and are served with the intention to provide a temporary refuge from the streets and an offer some kindness. The firm volunteers with Capitol Hill Community Services once a quarter and uses the opportunity to introduce new employees to the firm's core value of giving back through the Karma Program.

Throughout the year, Brownstein organizes Karma Projects so employees and clients as well as their family and friends can give back to the communities in which they live and work.
