October 20, 2021

Brownstein Hyatt Farber Schreck is pleased to announce that Ryan Waterman, a shareholder in its San Diego office, was recognized by Big Brothers Big Sisters of San Diego County as one of 60 Change Makers who has helped shape the agency’s history.

A member of the organization’s board of directors since 2010, Waterman currently serves as vice chair and will become board chair effective Jan. 1, 2022. He has also served as chair of the organization’s Risk Management Committee and Board Development Committee. Waterman is a former Big Brother and remains in contact with his three Little Brothers, and his wife is a former Big Sister who stays in touch with her Little Sister.

“Together, we are committed as a couple to supporting Big Brothers Big Sisters because we have strong personal experience with the power of one-on-one mentoring and have seen its effects in the lives of our Little Brothers and Little Sister,” he said.

Waterman was recognized at the organization’s 60th anniversary event on Oct. 1.
