August 01, 2023

Angela Hygh, an associate in Brownstein Hyatt Farber Schreck’s Real Estate Department, has been appointed to the board of directors of Downtown Colorado, Inc. (DCI), a nonprofit membership association committed to building better communities by providing assistance to Colorado downtowns, commercial districts, main streets, rural communities and town centers.

In her role, Hygh will participate in strategic and financial planning for the DCI, act as an ambassador for the organization, participate in events and trainings, and advise as a member of the Urban Renewal Authority (URA) Committee.

Hygh looks forward to using her expertise in public finance, land use and urban renewal to assist the organization.

“DCI helps to shape Colorado’s development in large and small ways, using innovative solutions and unconventional approaches,” she said. “As a real estate and land use attorney, I am excited about DCI’s commitment to community building and looking forward to getting involved with the goal of advising Colorado communities about how to leverage tools to foster economic growth and vitality.”
