LaKeitha Anderson Named to 2023 Women of Power List by U.S. Black Chambers

March 23, 2023

LaKeitha Anderson, a policy director in Brownstein Hyatt Farber Schreck’s Washington, D.C., office, was recognized by U.S. Black Chambers (USBC) on its 2023 Women of Power “Power 50”  List. The USBC Power 50 list annually honors 50 women who embody the organization’s spirit by making a difference in their communities and in the world at large. According to the USBC, this year’s honorees represent a cross-section of women from across the nation who have made significant contributions in their fields.

Anderson guides companies in highly regulated industries through local, state and federal policy arenas, building coalitions of diverse stakeholders and liaising with constituency groups. She skillfully blends communications and advocacy strategies to protect brands and position her clients for success in Washington, D.C. As legislators and regulators consider actions impacting her clients, Anderson engages Democratic policymakers, provides insight into their thinking and leverages her unique understanding of how to navigate the third-party groups and grassroots organizations that influence them. She currently serves on the board of directors of the Congressional Hispanic Leadership Institute and Congressional Black Caucus Institute and formerly served as a member of the Congressional Black Caucus Foundation's Corporate Advisory Council.

Anderson was recognized at USBC’s annual Women of Power luncheon in Washington, D.C., on March 23.
