Andy Spielman Selected to Teach Land Use Course at University of Denver Daniels College of Business

Andy Spielman, a shareholder in Brownstein Hyatt Farber Schreck’s Natural Resources Department, was selected to teach a graduate level course on land use in outdoor recreation at the University of Denver Daniels College of Business. The course is part of the new interdisciplinary Leadership in Outdoor Recreation Industry (LORI) program that aims to increase the diversity of the talent pipeline for the outdoor industry.

Spielman is a widely respected energy, public lands and natural resources lawyer assisting with policy and regulatory issues involved in developing new facilities, as well as in the public land use and environmental permitting process. Spielman represents ski areas; wind, solar and transmission developers; and mining companies in the public land use and environmental permitting process before governments across the nation. He helps private entities understand what it will take to get public agency approval. Spielman is a former ski industry chief operating officer and general counsel.
