Sydne Rennie Joins National Disaster Search Dog Foundation’s Board of Directors

February 12, 2024

Sydne Rennie, an associate in Brownstein Hyatt Farber Schreck’s Real Estate Department, has been appointed to the board of directors of the National Disaster Search Dog Foundation (SDF). SDF’s mission is to strengthen disaster response in America by rescuing and recruiting dogs and partnering them with firefighters and other first responders to find people buried alive in the wreckage of disasters.

As part of her three-year term beginning in March 2024, Rennie will help support and advance SDF’s mission and vision; attend board meetings, events and programs; and be an active and influential advocate of SDF’s work.

Rennie initially became involved with SDF through pro bono work and was drawn to its mission. Her enthusiasm for the organization further grew after visiting its campus and witnessing its impactful work firsthand.

“SDF’s clear commitment to the dogs that they rescue and recruit—including ensuring lifetime care for every dog in their program—is moving and impressive,” she said. “This is an amazing organization that I am honored to be a part of.”
