On Wednesday, June 17, our friend, colleague and partner, Mike Rounds passed away. Our hearts break for Mike’s wife, daughters and their extended family.
Mike joined Brownstein in 2015 after 18 years at his own firm, Watson Rounds. We were so proud to have Mike, and everyone at the firm he had built in Reno, join our family. In all of his years of practice, Mike was a phenomenal lawyer and advocate for his clients. At Brownstein, he was a strong mentor for and leader of our Intellectual Property Department. News of Mike’s passing is shocking and upsetting for everyone at the firm who had the privilege of working with him.
Mike loved being outside. His love for mountain biking, cycling and skiing was contagious and his colleagues knew how much he looked forward to his rides after work.
