June 09, 2022

Brownstein Hyatt Farber Schreck is pleased to announce that Kayla Dreyer, a shareholder in its Denver office, has been elected chair of the Colorado Bar Association (CBA) Litigation Section’s Executive Council.

As chair, Dreyer will help conduct the Litigation Section’s business, which includes regular meetings with the Executive Council to discuss legislative updates, ethics updates, rules changes, continuing legal education programs and other issues impacting litigators throughout the state.

Dreyer has been actively involved with the Litigation Section for six years, previously serving in chair-elect, treasurer and secretary roles on its Executive Council.

“I’m honored to take on this new role as chair of the Litigation Section’s Executive Council and look forward to collaborating with my colleagues on the council and within the section to assist our fellow litigators across Colorado,” she said.

The CBA’s Litigation Section—which includes more than 1,500 members—focuses on the interests and problems of trial lawyers and has active programs to promote advocacy training, law reform and professional development. Through publications and seminars, this section provides current information of interest to litigation practitioners.
